Our shelter is in need of many repairs and renovation that make a victims stay here much more comfortable and additionally allow the shelter to be operated in a more efficient manner by reducing our operating expenses. The project has a total cost of approximately $250,000.00 but has been broken down into 2 phases for easier prioritization and project management. Phase 1 deals primarily with repairs that are essential to our operation. Phase 2 addresses renovation to increase space and safety. The Sunshine Lady Foundation had kindly donated $5,000.00 to project and the Meadows Foundation has donated $70,000.00. Funds from the Meadows Foundation must be matched first before any amount is given to us. We have until August 1st, 2008 to do so and here is where we need your help. Meadows Foundation will match your money dollar-for-dollar, up to $70,000.00. Currently we must still raise $58,000.00 dollars to be eligible for the whole amount.
