A Benefit for Mental Health Victims of the
Guadalupe Valley Trauma Project will be held at "The Cranny"
December 2nd from 10 AM to 4 PM. Baked goods, donations and volunteers
are needed and appreciate. Please visit and buy some baked goods
that are baked with love.
Leadership Seguin 2004-2005 has
completed their large project at the shelter. We now have a completely
remodeled kitchen, living room. Out side we have a new garden,
children's playscape, shed and fencing has been repaired. We can
not express our gratitude enough. Thanks!
The Meadows
Foundation Has granted GVFVS $19,200.00 for much needed shelter
repairs and security implements. The Foundation has helped fellow

Leadership Luau 2005
Leadership Seguin Class 2005
will be hosing a fund raiser on March 19, 2005 at Austin Street
Live downtown. Times are 9 PM to 1 AM. Proceeds are to benefit
the class project of renovating our shelter. Companies that wish
to donate items for a live auction or would like to be featured
as a corporate sponsor can contact the Seguin Chamber of Commerce

TLU University is hosting a fund raiser
for us!
Women students and faculty of
TLU will be hosting
a VDAY on February
24, 25 and 26 at the Wupperman Theater on the TLU campus. As part
of the college campaign a benefit production of the Vagina Monologues
by Eve Ensler will be done on the three days at 7:30 PM. Tickets
are $3.00 for TLU community and $8.00 general admission. 100%
of the proceeds benefit the shelter.

having a Bar-B-Que on Saturday February 26, 2005. Plates will
be available at the First Commercial Bank on Court Street in Seguin.
